Se siete amanti dei manga e avete un dispositivo Android Manga Watcher è un’applicazione che non può mancare. Molti fumetti per questioni di copyright infatti non vengono pubblicati in Italia, ed è piuttosto fastidioso non poter leggere le novità dal Giappone o l’ultima fatica del proprio mangaka preferito.
Ecco allora che vengono in aiuto le scanlations, scansioni tratte direttamente dalle pagine delle riviste giapponesi in cui le parole nei fumetti vengono sostituite dalla traduzione di gruppi di esperti appassionati.
Manga Watcher semplifica la lettura e la ricerca dei manga, rendendoli disponibili direttamente ed in maniera semplificata in una semplice app, che permette non solo di leggerli, ma anche di scaricarli e raccoglierli in una libreria multimediale.
Il funzionamento è piuttosto semplice: nella scheda Catalogs è presente una lista dei maggiori siti di scans, che possono essere filtrati secondo la lingua (nel mio caso, come si può vedere dall’immagine, sono visualizzati solo i siti italiani e anglofoni). Cliccando su uno dei siti si può quindi rendere ancora più selettiva la ricerca scegliendo il genere (Shoujo, Action, Adult..) o cercando semplicemente attraverso le parole chiave con la classica lente di ingrandimento. Entrati nella scheda del manga è sufficiente cliccare su “Add to Library”.
Si creerà quindi una scaffalatura nella home della app, nella quale si potrà scegliere tranquillamente il manga. Cliccandoci si potrà accedere alla scheda di ognuno, dalla quale si possono leggere i capitoli, direttamente online o scaricandoli nella scheda sd.
Un sacco di impostazioni possono poi essere personalizzate, dal metodo di lettura al modo di aggiornamento.
