Neanche quest’estate si può scappare: una moltitudine di braccialetti ai polsi, rigorosamente colorati, saranno all’ordine del giorno. Il trend degli stacked bracelets non molla la presa, e se i soldi mancano per accaparrarsi i pezzi di Chan Luu o di Cruciani, è il caso di dedicarsi al DIY.
Quello che vedete qui sopra è una mia rivisitazione di un tutorial di Honestly WTF, veramente semplicissimo. Ecco quindi i passaggi tradotti per chi con l’inglese ha meno dimestichezza.
Materiale
- 2 fili di cotone cerato
- perline
- un bottone

Si piegano i due cordini di cotone cerato (che devono avere una lunghezza ognuno di circa 4 volte la circonferenza del polso) e li si annodano, in modo da lasciare un’asolina sufficientemente grande per il bottone di chiusura.
Si taglia quindi uno dei quattro fili che si ricavano, e si intrecciano i rimanenti per circa 2 cm. Si continua quindi la treccia inserendo in ogni “nodo” una perlina, come mostrato nelle foto.

E’ importante tenere tesi i fili durante l’intreccio, per evitare che rimangano buchi tra una perlina e l’altra. Una volta raggiunti i 3/4 della lunghezza del bracciale si ricomincia ad intrecciare il tutto senza perline, annodando in fine sul bottone.
Potrebbe sembrare un lavoraccio, ma si tratta invece di un’operazione che porta via al massimo 10 minuti!
Nella mia variante di prova ho utilizzato delle perline semitrasparenti, non riuscendo a trovarne dal finish metallico con l’asola sufficientemente larga per il cordino cerato.
Ovviamente se ne possono usare di tutti i colori e forme, quindi largo alla fantasia!

Si devi solo stare attenta a fare i passaggi giusti, ma dopo 2-3 perline ti viene naturale!
Stai molto attenta quando compri filo e perline invece, perchè tante perline hanno le asole diverse tra loro, e magari in alcune il filo passa e altre no.. (consiglio, prendi un filo dal diametro molto molto stretto)
