Partecipare ad un evento è già di per sè piacevole, indipendentemente dal tema. Aggiungeteci una cornice unica come l’Arena di Verona, buon cibo e buona compagnia e l’Opera.. si può voler qualcosa di più? Non credo proprio.
Il 2 settembre (lo so, sono lentissima a scrivere i post!) ho avuto la possibilità di assistere alla Bohème di Puccini assieme ad altre blogger, grazie all’invito delle profumerie Douglas, sponsor di quest’anno dell’Arena. L’obiettivo è stato quello di mostrare la propria visione della donna, rifacendosi ai due personaggi dell’opera: Mimì, dolce, equilibrata e timida, ma con una forza d’animo immensa, e Musetta, sfacciata, stravagante ed estrosa, ma con un cuore d’oro.
Proprio a questi personaggi si rifà in parte la linea “J.S. Douglas Söhne“, che ripensando al creatore delle profumerie Douglas ha un gusto retrò, sia nel packaging che nei profumi. La linea è disponibile in 3 varianti: Aloe Vera e Fichi d’India (verde), Vitamine e Olio Shea (Rosa) e Melissa e Ginger (gialla). Ve ne parlerò meglio in seguito, avendo avuto la possibilità di provarne qualche prodotto.
Tornando alla serata, come scrivevo poc’anzi, Douglas non era il solo brand del mondo della bellezza presente all’evento. Anche Guerlain ha partecipato con 2 stand, dove i gentilissimi MUA Roberto e Carlos hanno per tutta la sera reso bellissime le donne presenti, ovviamente utilizzando la nuovissima linea del brand francese. Proprio di questa siamo state omaggiate a fine serata, con una welcome bag dello stesso azzurro acquamarina di Douglas, contenente il profumo Idylle Eau de Toilettee il rossetto Rouge G. Packaging elegantissimo cromato con monogrammi, colori e profumazioni perfette.. inutile dire che ce ne siamo innamorate subito.
Inutile dire comunque che la parte centrale della serata è stata l’opera. Diretta dal regista francese Arnaud Bernard ha avuto un taglio minimalista nella scenografia, ma spettacolare nella recitazione, con centinaia di comparse durante le scene centrali. E’ quasi inutile descriverla, perchè è una di quelle cose da provare. Piccolo consiglio: leggersi il libretto in anticipo sarà utilissimo!
Un ringraziamento infine va a Paola e alle sue collaboratrici, che oltre ad invitarci hanno risposto a tutte le nostre millemila domande prima e dopo l’evento e agli accompagnatori maschili, che hanno sopportato le nostre lamentele sui tacchi tutta la sera!
