Dai premi per i video musicali a quelli per le serie tv: ieri sera sono andati in onda gli Emmy Awards 2014, il red carpet dell’anno per i tv addicted (come la sottoscritta). I premi potete trovarli nella pagina ufficiale, ma a chi votereste come migliore beauty look di questi Emmys?
Claire Danes (Homeland) e Debra Messing (Smash) vincono per me la categoria total look. L’hairstyle di Claire è spettacolare, formato da una treccia a spina di pesce attorcigliata su uno chignon, e abbinato ad un makeup elegante ma semplicissimo: il rossetto complimenta l’abito alla perfezione. Debra porta invece l’Hollywood glamour sul red carpet: onde, smokey eye, colore dei capelli.. c’è nulla di sbagliato?
Mi sono innamorata anche dell’acconciatura di January Jones (Mad Men): frangetta e torchon strettissimi che si legano alla base della nuca, in una sorta di chignon. Quanto tempo dev’essere stato necessario? Natalie Dorman (Game of Thrones) sembra invece uscita da un catalogo di Victoria’s Secret: chi non vorrebbe onde simili alzi la mano.
Lo smokey eye è stato il padrone del makeup di questa 66esima edizione: bronzo, nero o rosa. Lizzy Caplan (Master of Sex) lo sceglie scurissimo, lasciando il resto del viso al naturale, mentre Sarah Hyland (Modern Family) punta di nuovo sui toni del marrone, riuscendo però questa volta nell’intento. Che qualcuno le abbia detto che troppo contouring sta bene solo a Kim Kardashian?
