Lo ammetto, ultimamente sono rimasta un po’ indietro con le recensioni (penso di avere una cinquantina di prodotti di cui fare ancora gli swatch ecc.. :/) quindi oggi non una, ma 2 review in un colpo solo! Si tratta di Mr. Big di Essence, una base facente parte dei Nail Art Twins, e Amethyst Sparkle di CND, linea Effects. Vista la grande quantità di foto questa volta le schede prodotto le trovate a fondo pagina!
Mr. Big è un rosa-ciliegia / lampone (thanks Wikipedia!), molto simile al Tiffany Fuchsia di Pupa di cui si parlava ieri, e conseguentemente anche al Pulsion di Chanel. La consistenza è creme*, quindi piuttosto facile da stendere. E’ necessario però essere abbastanza veloci, perchè si asciuga veramente velocemente.
Con la luce artificiale (e in questo caso anche il flash) il colore tende molto di più al fuchsia, evitando comunque di diventare troppo acceso, come ad esempio il Rosa Peonia (251) di Kiko.
Per completare la nailart odierna (o meglio, di ieri) ho aggiunto un tocco glitter, utilizzando l’Amethyst Sparkle di CND, comprato questo inverno in ordine cumulativo con Giggia ed altre ragazze di twitter. Si tratta di un Effect Top Coat dal finish shimmer / duochrome*, ovvero di un top coat che invece di lucidare e fissare solamente lo smalto, crea degli effetti particolari.
Questo nello specifico oltre a rendere shimmer (quindi leggermente glitterato) lo smalto, crea dei riflessi violetti, che cambiano tono in base al tipo di luce che li colpisce.
L’applicazione di questo prodotto è un qualcosa di spettacolare: si asciuga in un attimo, il pennellino è della grandezza giusta, e non crea grumi. La cosa migliore comunque resta il poter cambiare totalmente uno smalto, dandogli riflessi degni del migliore smalto olografico! Prossimamente vi mostrerò come con questo sia possibile creare un ottimo dupe del Paradoxal di Chanel.. nel frattempo date un’occhiata a questa foto di Edge Of Sanity, per vederne altri esempi!

Per quel che ne so il Mr. Big dovrebbe far parte della collezione permanente della nailart. Qua da me è finito, ma leggendo su vari forum mi pare di aver capito che assieme ai nuovi colori (quelli di cui parlavo qua https://valeold.friedbrains.it/2011/02/novita-nailart-essence-primavera-2011/) rimetteranno in commercio anche i più gettonati dello scorso invernom quindi Mr. Big & Carrie, e Thelma & Louise (che devo ancora recensire da mesi peraltro!)
