Del Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser di Liz Earle ne han ormai parlato tutti, me ne rendo conto. Dopo 2 mesi di utilizzo è però anche ora che vi dia la mia opinione su questo celeberrimo prodotto!
Il prodotto può essere acquistato in diverse varianti, in base a dimensione, e contenuto del kit. Quello che ho ricevuto io è lo starter kit da 100 ml (£ 13.75, circa € 16), contenente per l’appunto il detergente nella sua versione media da 100 ml, 2 panni di mussolina ed una pochettina per tenere in ordine il tutto.
Inutile dire che l’attenzione al packaging è invidiabile! Tutto è sui toni chiari del verde, a richiamare l’idea di ecobio di cui si forgia l’azienda.
Il prodotto è un detergente per il viso adatto a tutti i tipi di pelle (per capire qual è comunque il vostro vi consiglio il test Know Your Skin all’interno del sito), che oltre a pulire il viso lo esfolia leggermente, grazie al panno incluso nella confezione.
L’utilizzo è piuttosto semplice, anche se purtroppo richiedere un po’ di tempo, che non sempre (soprattutto la mattina) si ha a disposizione. 1-2 noci di prodotto vanno massaggiate sul viso, soprattutto nelle zone più critiche (indipendentemente se per secchezza o perchè oleose). Il panno in mussolina va quindi inumidito con acqua calda, per rimuovere il detergente. Per ogni punto della pelle va ovviamente utilizzato un lembo diverso del panno.
Il profumo è veramente buonissimo, mentolato (probabilmente per l’eucalipto contenuto) ma non troppo forte, e lascia fin da subito una sensazione di freschezza sulla pelle, soprattutto durante l’estate.
Anche i risultati sono piuttosto buoni, perchè l’azione esfoliante tende a far diminuire nel tempo la formazione dei punti neri e l’allargamento eccessivo dei pori. Ovviamente però perchè questo avvenga in modo visibile è necessaria tanta costanza.
L’unico appunto che ho da fare sulla descrizione del sito riguarda il mascara: per un test completo ho provato a toglierlo (uso il 3-1 waterproof di Bottega Verde) come il resto del trucco, ma si è trattato di un disastro. Sono riuscita a trovare l’equilibrio perfetto struccando gli occhi con il bifasico di L’Oreal, ed il viso con questo o con il detergente di Dermo28.
