Con un tema come “Punk: Chaos meets Couture”, il Met Ball di quest’anno si sarebbe potuto trasformare in uno degli avvenimenti più originali e stilosi della stagione. E invece no. In poche hanno deciso di abbandonare makeup ed hairstyle classici in favore di uno stile più attinente al tema, così come è successo anche per la scelta delle scarpe.
C’è stato però anche chi ha deciso di rischiare commenti negativi da parte dei tabloid, entrando appieno nel mood della serata, e della mostra che è stata presentata.
Prima fra tutte Sarah Jessica Parker, che non ci fa rimpiangere Carrie Bradshaw, con un’intricatissima acconciatura a treccia sormontata da un finto mohawk in piume ed inserti dorati di Philip Tracy.
Puntano invece sul trucco dark Ginnifer Goodwin, Rooney Mara e Nicole Richie, quest’ultima accompagnando il tutto con una scurissima abbronzatura ed una tinta argento per i capelli. Non vi ricorda Tempesta degli X-Men?
Il colore è la scelta di Elle Fanning, Kristen Stewart e Emily Blunt, mentre Sienna Miller ed Anne Hathaway puntano su un pallone quasi spettrale ed acconciature in primo piano.
