Se non fosse stato per Zoe Saldana non sarei mai venuta a conoscenza di Oscar Tiye, e delle sue spettacolari scarpe, specialmente i sandali della collezione estiva.
Nonostante il nome il brand è italiano, e nasce dall’ispirazione delle designer giordane Amina Muaddi e Irina Curutz. Oscar deriva dal gioco di parole arabe Oscar-Scar-ab, che indica lo scarabeo, simbolo scelto per il brand e sacro all’antico popolo egizio. Non a caso compare in ogni scarpa, stilizzato o sotto forma di piccola placchetta dorata sotto la suola.
I modelli sono semplicissimi ma al tempo stesso eleganti: i colori sono accesi, con particolare attenzione al rosso corallo, lo stiletto e il laccetto alla caviglia sono immancabili, mentre il materiale è sempre pelle scamosciata.
