Di guilty pleasures ne abbiamo tutti, e (mi vergogno un po’ a dirlo) i miei sono i reality americani dedicati al mondo della moda. Non perdo una stagione di America’s Next Top Model, e devo ammettere che nelle pause tra una serie e l’altra mi manca. Programma stupido? Decisamente. Divertente? Altrettanto.
Mettetevi allora nei miei panni nello scoprire The Face, la novità Oxygen di quest’anno: reality su modelle in erba, Nigel Barker a presentare, e Coco Rocha, mia musa indiscussa, tra i giudici. Potevo non innamorarmene?
Il senso del programma è piuttosto semplice: 3 top-model (Coco Rocha, Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova), ad ognuna una squadra di 4 modelle in erba. Ogni puntata prevede una sfida individuale ed una di gruppo. Un’eliminazione a puntata, scelta dalla team-leader del gruppo che ha vinto la sfida.
Le sfide individuali si basano sul talento personale di ognuno dei 3 giudici: originalità e pose con Coco, camminata e stile con Naomi, cataloghi e cambi veloci con Karolina. Se tutto questo non vi basta credetemi: le uscite di Naomi Campbell meritano da sole la visione!
